Herbert Terry anglepoise lamp in cream with roll edge shade and bakelite switch

Designed by George Carwardine for Herbert Terry & Sons and made in Redditch, England, this is a lovely example of an original 1930s anglepoise lamp.

This is the much sought-after early type lamp with a rolled edge shade, two-stepped base and adjustable springs. 

It has an original bakelite switch and vintage style braided flex.

In its original cream painted finish.

In good vintage condition with just a few little scratches in keeping with its age.  

A great example of a timeless classic.
