Herbert Terry anglepoise lamp in black

Original 1930s anglepoise lamp designed by George Carwardine for Herbert Terry & Sons and made in Redditch, England.

This is the much sought-after early model with a tulip shade, two-stepped base and adjustable springs. 

It has a new chrome lamp holder and vintage look black braided flex.

In a black painted finish.

In good vintage condition with a few scratches in keeping with its age, mainly on the shade, and some on the arm, but nothing serious.

This lovely example of an original anglepoise is a true design classic.
