Eames Herman Miller RAR rocking chair in greige on black base

Original 50s Charles Eames rocking chair in greige on a new black powder coated metal base with solid walnut runners. 

The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age really well.

In good vintage condition.  No chips or cracks in the fibreglass.  The shockmounts are in good condition. Some very minor scuffs here and there on the shell but nothing serious.

A mid-century classic.

This can also be supplied on a zinc base and/or birch/oak runners.

The seat and base will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
