Eames Herman Miller DSW side chair rocker in translucent lemon yellow
Designed by Charles Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 60s/early 70s. Original translucent lemon yellow fibreglass shell mounted on shockmounts and new black powder coated metal rocker base with walnut runners. Herman Miller embossed stamp on underside of seat.
The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models.
In very good overall condition, with just a couple of very small scuffs here and there to the edges of the shell, in keeping with its age, but nothing noticeable.
Can also be supplied on a zinc base and/or birch runners if you prefer. We are also happy to supply any of our Eames DSW shells on rocker bases.
The seat and base will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
A stunning chair in a gorgeous colour - a totally classic, very collectable piece.
